Our candles are handcrafted using natural organic soy wax, eco-friendly cotton wicks, and natural wood wicks. While designed to provide an elegant and safe sensory experience, their use involves an open flame and should be done responsibly.
By using a LÚMINA candle, the customer accepts the following safety recommendations:
Individual Use
Each candle should be lit separately.
Do not light candles inside decorative arrangements or next to other items, as this can cause a buildup of heat and increase the risk of fire.
If the candle is part of an aesthetic composition, separate it completely before lighting it.
Surface and Support
Candles should only be placed on the following surfaces:
- Flat and stable
- Heat resistant
- Made of glass, ceramic, concrete, stone or metal
Using a suitable support protects both the surface and the stability of the candle.
General Safety Rules
- Never leave a lit candle unattended.
- Keep it away from flammable materials such as paper, textiles, or decorative items.
- Leave at least 10 cm of distance between lit candles.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not place the candle in drafts.
Before Turning On
For optimal and safe performance:
- Trim the wick to 5–7 mm before each use.
- Remove any decorative items near the flame.
- Do not burn the candle for more than 3–4 continuous hours.
How to Extinguish a Candle
- Use a candle snuffer or gently extinguish the flame.
- Avoid blowing too hard to prevent hot wax from splashing.
- Never use water to extinguish the candle.
Storage
Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources to preserve their shape and quality.
